Contes à Paillettes
Collectif Les Paillettes (Reading session for young audiences)
September 16 — 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Point Ephémère
Our favorite drag queens of the collective Paillettes are back again with their inclusive and murky stories! “Once upon a time, they were tall, kind and crazy creatures”… In their stories, the prince may not save the princess, heroes can cry, and heroines can travel the world. These stories open up new horizons with great joy that we need in the period of uncertainty.
Founded in 2014, Paillettes is self-claimed a queer collective uniting drag queens, trans, and Parisian creatures. The Paillettes questions our period using the symbolic and universal power of tales. During the reading session, the collective explore with kids the questions about inclusion, equality, and interrogates the normalization of representations.
