Jehane Hamm - Echine

Echine focuses on the backbone of body; the body material unleashes imaginations interacting with several borders. The body transforms constantly: hybridization of human and animal, mechanical movement, machinelike animal, even stereotypes of genre.

After studying in Toulouse with Christophe Legoff, Mark Thompkins, Jackie Taffanel and Bruno Danjoux, Jehane Hamm develops the practice of improvisation and spontaneous composition, foundation of her first two creations: O and The flow out. After that, she would like to create her own choreography.

Supports: DRAC Occitanie et Conseil départemental de la Haute-Garonne (écriture) ; Mairie de Toulouse (diffusion) / Studio: La Briqueterie CDCN ; Centre culturel Alban Minville ; Carreau du temple ; Mix’art Myrys ; Kontainer ; La clé du quai ; La Factory - Théâtre de l’Oulle ; La Fabrique de la danse ; TDI - Théâtre à durée indéterminée.

Simon Peretti & Marius Barthaux - parasite et bottes-de-plume

A body climbing another, clinging, stretching or curling up sometimes, seeking stability on this warm and moving surface. The stressed body looks for a thousand and one ways to get rid of the troublesome parasite… in vain. After the unstoppable merging, the two-headed monster turns toward the audience: how about another fusion? In parasite et bottes-de-plume, Simon Peretti & Marius Barthaux tries to understand how one body manages to dance after merging with another.

After graduating from ESAD (Ecole Supérieure d’Art Dramatique) Paris, Simon Peretti creates with 13 other trans/interdisciplinary artists the collective La Grosse Plateforme. In the collective, Simon works as creator and performer in public space, bringing boldness and joy down the street.

Marius Barthaux holds a bachelor of contemporary dance from the Manufacture of Lausanne. His body work full of humor interacts with collective creation, transdisciplinary practice, in situ and immersion Currently, apart from La Grosse Plateforme, he co-directs with Karine Dahouindji the Swiss company OUINCH OUINCH.
